There are a number of ways you might use a Wiki as a teacher.

Wikis are ideal for collaborative sharing of knowledge. They make a great repository for the ideas for the member sof a Community of Practice such as all the teachers of the same grade/subject.

Foe example, you could set up a Wiki to publish class information. The permission can be such that students would only be permitted to READ the Wiki whereas the teachers could both READ and EDIT the content.

In this way, whichever teacher who was say developing a specific student task could simply update the Wiki and then all teh studnets and the other teachers could read the new information.

Snazzy hey!
